Community Solutions & Crime Prevention

The Community Solutions & Crime Prevention Strategy, run over 5 years from 2001, aimed to provide an innovative multi agency response to social issues, particularly crime prevention, affecting targeted priority communities in NSW.  The initiative covered regional and rural NSW as well as metropolitan areas.   After 2006, the time limited projects that had been funded as part of the strategy   either ended or were handed over to be sustained by local organisations.  Project case studies can be found in the Case Studies   section of communitybuilders.
