New Connections Toolkit

This resource has been developed by the Online Council as a practical guide for regional organisations and communities who wish to bring about improvements in their telecommunications services through actively developing new ways to meet their telecommunications needs.

The Toolkit provides advice on planning, business case development and technology options, and provides advice on the various ways in which other regional communities are working with governments and the private sector to establish new arrangements for providing improved telecommunications services.

The Toolkit also details a number of case studies, both from Australia and overseas, of community-driven projects of this kind.
