Australian Rural Leadership FoundationThe Foundation provide world-class leadership development opportunities for rural and regional leaders at regional, state and national levels.
The ProgramThe Foundation’s aim is to identify, develop and support committed rural and regional leaders to become inspired and highly effective at regional, state, national and international levels. To achieve this aim, the Foundation conducts leadership development programs including the world-class Australian Rural Leadership Program and the Murray-Darling Basin Leadership Program. The Program is part - time and is conducted in seven sessions over a twenty-month period The ParticipantsTo date over 300 rural leaders have graduated from the Program and many of these already have achieved influential leadership roles. Participants are expected to have leadership roles and experience and are generally aged from about 30 to 45 years. They must be seen as having both the potential and prospects to make a real difference to their industries/communities/ organisations. Program SponsorsFunding for the Program is by means of scholarships provided by a wide range of government, industry and corporate sponsors with participants also contributing.
