This module provides general information on issues, resources, policies and programs specific to rural and regional communities in NSW.

It also pulls together all the other information on the site that is relevant to a specific region.

The Friends of Oolong is a well established and active environmental organisation based in southern NSW to assist bush communities. It is managed by full-time and part-time volunteers. The Friends of Oolong are undergoing a program of R&D and a fauna and flora inventory on vegetation remnants and the links between them on private land in a model named Oolong Sanctuary.
