Connecting Communities - Connecting Up 2008 Conference - presentations

Recently Donortech held a conference May 2008 in which people belonging to different businesses gave their views about the essentials of social networking.

Most of the presentations were about those aspects of technology which deal with the business efficiency and change in workplaces.

The presentation given by Spencer Maddrell about how internet has connected young people who are going through depression and facing anxeities in life was really interesting.

It shows a humane side of the practice of social networking, which is ignored most of the time by its critics.

The conference took place on
19 and 20 May 2008.
