Using Technology for Civic Engagement

A new study by the Case Foundation, pubished on the Tech Soup website, examines technology's role in civic engagement and offers recommendations for providing the tools citizens need to identify problems and develop solutions.

The Tech Soup website has an excerpt from a recently released study commissioned by the Case Foundation entitled Citizens at the Centre: A New Approach to Civic Engagement, written by Dr. Cynthia Gibson.

The study looks at technology and how it relates to civic engagement and offers specific recommendations for providing the tools citizens need to identify problems and develop solutions.
