Australian Deafness Directory

An online service directory for deaf and hearing impaired people.

The Australian Deafness Directory, produced by the Australian Communications Exchange, is a national directory which aims to provide a quick and accurate information on organisations that provide services to assist Deaf people and people with Hearing Impairments.

The Deafness Directory focuses on organisations for and of Deaf people and people with Hearing Impairments. It has a well developed set of categories to locate what you are looking for. The Deafness Directory can be searched by state, organisation type (audiology, consumer group, parent support groups, professional associations, service agencies, social clubs etc) or alphabetically.

The Deafness Directory does not usually cover government departments and agencies, general disability organisations, local sports clubs and teams or private hearing aid companies.
