Online socio-demographic snapshots of your Local Government Area, based on 2006 Census Data.

The Community Snapshot provides you with an accessible socio-demographic snapshot of your community, based on the latest Australian Bureau of Statistics Census Data (2006).

While it is necessary to register online to access the data, the information is free of charge.

The snapshots include the latest available data from the census for all Local Government Areas in all States and Territories across Australia.

profile.id enables you to analyse local community characteristics and understand how they have changed over time. It also allows you to compare your area to other areas.

The database is hosted by id consulting and is updated as census data is released by the ABS. Information is presented in a clear format which enables access to information by a range of people within the community.
