Kids' Stats online

A new resource that gives information about the safety, welfare and well- young people in New South Wales aged 0-17 years.

The NSW Commission for Children and Young People has developed Kids’ Stats to 

monitor how well kids are doing in key areas of their lives.

Seven key areas are monitored on Kids’ Stats:

• Family
• Child care
• School and work
• Community
• Child health
• Crime and safety
• Economic security

 These areas were selected because kids said they are important and because they reflect 

key aspects of children and young people's lives.  

Each year Kids’ Stats will be updated to provide the most current data available.

Articles examining specific aspects of kids' lives in greater depth will also be added.
