The Nonprofit Good Practice GuideThe Non-profit Good Practice Guide provides key information designed to help anyone manage a nonprofit organization efficiently and effectively.
The Nonprofit Good Practice Guide is a project of the Philanthropic and Nonprofit Knowledge Management Initiative (PNKM) at the Dorothy A. Johnson Centre for Philanthropy & Nonprofit Leadership at Grand Valley University, Michigan USA. Good practices can be applied quickly and directly to improving an organization's performance. The Guide can be used as a reference for quick answers, in preparation for staff or board meetings, as a training tool, and in reference for classroom studies. It offers answers to question about managing nonprofits and foundations, leading staff to sources that contain an abundance of information. The Guide explores articles, tips, resources and glossaries within ten topic areas:
