Cooperative Governance Manual – Online ResourceThe Co-operative Governance Manual published by the Co-operative Federation of Victoria Ltd. sets out to provide a framework for reviewing and defining what co-operative members and directors should know, do and be.
Co-operatives are enterprises with social purposes. Co-operative governance provides the structure through which the objectives of the co-operative are set and the means of attaining those objectives and the monitoring of performance. The Co-operative Governance Manual is the 2nd Edition (2005) of a preceding publication The Co-opAdvantage Developing Directors of Co-operatives Kit (2001). The Kit was developed as a learning circle product by the Active Learning & Communication Co-operative Limited for the Co-operative Federation of Victoria Ltd.
