Community Tool Box

A wealth of practical information to support your work in promoting community health and development.

This site from Kansas University provides over 6,000 pages of practical information on over 250 different topics relevant to active, healthy communities.

The Toolbox allows you to:

  • Learn a skill
  • Plan the work
  • Solve a problem
  • Explore best processes and practices
  • Connect with others

The site encourages feedback, and case study demonstration and asks that a simple acknowledgement - 'from the community toolbox' is given as credit.

The Toolbox is available in English and Spanish.
