Start Up Business - Tools and Resources

Business Victoria provides free information sheets for downloading, features on topical business issues such as the GST, electronic commerce and hundreds of links to sites of relevance to all small business operators.

The Small Business Counselling Service Inc. is a non-profit organisation working with the DSRD to provide counselling, mentoring and coaching to business operators throughout the State of Victoria.

The understanding that the development of a Business Plan is critical prior to any councelling conducted to "start-up" business has led to the development of some specific resources for small business operators.

A valuable tool and practical guides is provided to step you through the key headings usually contained in a Business Plan and gives some explanatory assistance. Please note that there is no finite Business Plan structure and you should tailor your Plan to suite your business structure and needs.
