Working in Partnership

Practical advice for running effective partnerships

The Department of Planning and Community Development, Victoria has identified five key features of effective partnerships in the new Working in Partnership webpage:

  • a good broker,
  • the right partners,
  • clear objectives,
  • good processes, and
  • ongoing motivation.

These features form the basis of the webpage which offers practical advice and resources to help you run an effective partnership.

Resources include: job descriptions, governance examples, conflict of interest guidelines, a communication strategy, meeting processes, MOUs and Terms of Reference documents and evaluation advice.

While these resources have been included with partnerships in mind, you may also find them useful in your day-to-day work.

Go to www.dpcd.vic.gov.au/partnerships for more details on Working in Partnership.
