Community Insurance and Superannuation Program from NSW Meals on Wheels

Affordable insurance for community organisations.

Previously known as Community Sector Insurance Program, NSW Meals on Wheels Community Related Insurance and Superannuation Program (CRISP) is now available Australia wide to not-for-profit community organisations. (Details of the Superannuation Program will be available later)

A rise in insurance premiums across the community sector has increased demand for affordable, quality, community sector insurance.

NSW Meals on Wheels has been providing insurance to the community sector since 1989, originating from a need for Meals on Wheels volunteer and community service activities to be adequately and reasonably covered.

Not-for-profit community organisations and/or not-for-profit specific activities may be insured with CRISP.

The following classes of insurance are available under CRISP:
  • Public and Products liability
  • Directors and Officers Liability
  • Professional Indemnity Liability
  • Employment Practices Liability
  • Motor Vehicle Insurance
  • Volunteer Personal Accident
  • Fire, Storm and other perils
  • Burglary and Theft
  • General Property
  • Money
  • Machinery Breakdown/ Deterioration of Stock
  • Motor Vehicle Comprehensive
  • Motor Vehicle Non Owned: Excess and No Claims Bonus protection for both staff and volunteers
Benefits of insuring with CRISP
  • In most cases CRISP is able to match, or better, any equivalent insurance premium quote
  • All CRISP insurance cover includes volunteers, not just employees
  • A name you can trust
  • Helps both your organisation’s sustainability and that of Meals on Wheels
  • Newsletter

CRISP is managed under licence by Willis Australia Limited Australian Financial Services, Licence number 240600, on behalf of NSW Meals on Wheels Association.
