Integrated Case Management - The LAC ProjectThe LAC Project was formed to promote the use of the Looking After Children [LAC] case management system in Australasia, to improve the life outcomes for children and young people in out-of-home care.
The LAC Project Australia is a joint venture of Barnardos Australia, and the School of Social Work, University of NSW (researcher Elizabeth Fernandez). The LAC Project was formed to promote the use of the Looking After Children [LAC] case management system in Australasia, to improve the life outcomes for children and young people in out-of-home care. The LAC is a comprehensive system of recording information and directing practice for children and young people in care. Many social work practitioners will already be familiar with the emphasis of Looking After Children on ‘good parenting, good outcomes’. The materials developed in the UK and adapted under license in Australia by The LAC Project, are available for use in several Australian states and territories. The LAC Project can provide:
