Insurance: What's it all about? A guide for not for profit organisations

The guide, published by Council of Social Service of NSW, demystifies insurance by providing simple, easily understood information for organisations struggling to understand the insurance process and what their policies cover them for.

The guide provides information on:

  • The players: brokers, underwriters, unauthorised foreign insurers;
  • Selecting an insurance provider
  • Filling out proposal forms
  • Understanding your policy
  • Reducing your premium
  • Claims
  • 15 different types of insurance: what they are, when you need them, what they cover and other issues.

The price is $16 for Council of Social Service of NSW (NCOSS) members and $19 for non-members (GST inclusive)

Follow this link for information about how to order the insurance guide (opens in a new browser window)
