    - Community Sector Banking (CSB) has launched Community Fleet Services - a new service specifically for Not for Profit organisations that has the potential of saving millions of dollars annually across the sector.

  • Business Guide for Partnering NGOs
    - Partnerships on environmental issues account for a third of all business corporate social responsibility partnerships on a global level and education projects are the preferred corporate social responsibility partnerships at a local level. These are some of the key findings of "The Business Guide to Partnering with NGOs and the United Nations", a global effort to scan and rate NGOs, UN agencies and other social actors from a business partnership perspective.
  • Challenges and Strategies for the Sustainability and Viability of Non Profit Multi-Tenant Service Centres: A Literature Review
    - This literature review was prepared for the Department of Communities, Queensland Government by Dr June Lennie, Principal Consultant, June Lennie Research and Evaluation, in April 2007. It highlights that developing and implementing multi-tenant service centres, integrated service delivery and other forms of collaborative arrangements presents many challenges and issues for community-based not for profit organisations. This report clearly sets out the key challenges and issues involved and presents a range of strategies for maintaining the sustainability, viability and success of shared service centres.

The Australian Red Cross Blood Service (ARCBS) is an operating division of the Australian Red Cross Society (ARCS). We are the national organisation responsible for the provision of quality blood products, tissues and related services to the Australian community.

Around 450,000 dedicated, voluntary blood donors, 2200 committed and skilled staff and 1800 loyal volunteers enable us to provide this vital service, an integral part of Australia's health system.
