A weekend of networking, learning new skills and building relationships with other enthusiastic and vibrant country women who will gather in the rural town of Wentworth, "The Town on Two Rivers".

Wentworth will host the 2010 annual state-wide NSW Rural Women's Gathering on 29-31 October 2010.  The event will provide a great opportunity for women to "get together" to share experiences, ideas, establish networks and raise the profile of rural women.

The NSW Rural Women's Gathering has been in operation fo 15 years now and welcomes all women from all walks of life.  The Gathering theme is "Wander West to Wentworth" where participants will examine ways to build health, personal development and how to care for the environment.  They will even have the opportunity to plant a tree to help offset their carbon footprint.

An extensive program will be developed with a number of top calibre speakers, numerous workshops, trade exhibits, local tours and a gala dinner on Saturday night (with a difference).

The Lower Murray Darling CMA is committed to providing support to rural initiaitves like the NSW Rural Women's Gathering as it provides an opportunity to work in partnership with other organisations to strengthen rural communities and work towards a sustainable healthy environment.
