What are you doing to yourself? campaign
The What are you doing to yourself? campaign aims to tackle the growing problem of binge or excessive drinking and anti-social behaviour among teenagers and young adults. The campaign’s key message is about taking personal responsibility for your alcohol consumption when socialising. The campaign shows young people in social environments and reflects how an individual’s personality and behaviour can change when they drink to excess. The campaign focuses on six broad geographic areas with the highest rates of alcohol-related violence:
A series of five posters are appearing in and around railway stations, on bus sides, in washrooms and are being transported by advertising scooters around Newcastle foreshore and Sydney, Parramatta and Manly during major public holiday activities. Advertisements are also appearing in various publications including the free and gay and lesbian press. There is also an interactive website with a quiz supporting the campaign with tips for a safer night around alcohol and much more. www.whatareyoudoingtoyourself.com The campaign posters are available in A4 and A3 sizes. To order these resources complete the Community Drug Strategies Resource Order Form.
