Overview

The Orange Community Drug Action Team (CDAT) was established in 2000. The Team meets the first Tuesday of the month.

What we're doing

The Orange CDAT is auspiced by The Lyndon Community and has a very active membership. The CDAT has strong partnerships with Police, Health, Non-Government agencies and the Orange community.

The purpose of the CDAT is:

• Disseminate drug and alcohol information to the community
• Provide drug awareness and education
• Partner with community organisations and businesses to provide alternative activities for young people and families in the Orange community.

The CDAT has run successful Trivia Nights for young people and parents in the city of Orange. They have also partnered with local Movie Theatres to use their foyer for a drug and alcohol stall as well as providing free movie tickets for patrons.
