Community Drug Action Team Grant Program 2008/2009
Grants for Community Drug Action Teams and associated agencies
Community Engagement and Action, Mental Health Drug & Alcohol Office, NSW Health is pleased to announce that its 2008/2009 Grants will soon be available to CDATs. In 2008 / 2009, $300,000 is being made available for local projects designed to prevent or reduce drug and alcohol related harm in local communities. Each CDAT is required to lodge an Expression of Interest and an Annual Drug Action Plan to Community Engagement and Action prior to applying for funds. The process is designed to provide us with a broad overview of the diverse range of activities CDATs wish to undertake over the year and better manage the resources available. CDATs may also lodge applications for project funding along with their Expressions of Interest and Annual Drug Action Plans. Applications can only be made by an endorsed CDAT, a CDAT currently in the process of being endorsed or a nominated member agency of a CDAT. For further information and forms please contact your regional Project Officer, Robert Stirling - Senior Project Officer (02) 9391 9287 or Ralph Moore - Manager, Community Engagement and Action (02) 9424-5938. Expressions of Interest for the 2008/2009 Grants Program close on 30th June 2008. |
