Guides to dealing with alcohol for teenagers and parents

A suite of resources with information for young people and parents about the risks associated with binge drinking and tips for having a safe and enjoyable night when alcohol is around. The three guides are:

Your pocket guide to a good night out is a compact teenage booklet (A7) for info stalls, libraries, youth centres etc. This guide includes:

  • Tips for a safer night
  • How do you know if you've had too much?
  • When is too much dangerous?
  • What to do in an emergency
  • Looking after your mates

Your guide to dealing with alcohol is a larger (A6), more in depth teenage resource for use in discussion groups and counselling. This guide expands on the topics in the pocket guide and also covers:

  • What alcohol can do to you
  • Mixing alcohol with other drugs
  • Drink spiking
  • Problem drinking
  • Useful web links.
