No Regrets - Safe Party Tips - booklet for young people.

A group of northern Sydney Local Council's has produced a safe partying booklet aimed at young people and parents living in these council areas.

SHOROC (the Shore Regional Organisation of Councils) is a cooperative group of councils on Sydney’s Northern Beaches representing Manly, Mosman, Pittwater and Warringah who are working together to increase the awareness amongst young people and their parents about their responsibilities for safe partying.

The No Regrets - Safe Party Tips booklet was launched on behalf of the SHOROC Executive by the Mayor of Pittwater, Clr Alex McTaggart, at the Pittwater Youth Forum on 10 November 2005.

 The Tips in the booklet are helpful for people in all areas.

The 8 page booklet covers the following topics:

• Playing safe - it's your choice
• Checklist for teenagers
• Checklist for parents
• Things to consider if hosting a party
• Partying and the Law
• Useful contacts
