Girls With A Purpose Facilitator's Manual

A resource that helps young women develop self worth, a positive identity and sense of purpose.

The Girls With A Purpose Facilitator’s Manual allows youth workers and teachers to implement a relevant life skills program with teenage girls. The program discusses some of the most important issues facing young women today. Topics include communication, goal planning, relationships, sexual health, violence and abuse, beauty, help-seeking and self-esteem.

The Facilitators Manual contains 11 session plans with over 80 suggested games and activities with 25 handouts, evaluation forms and a Certificate of Attendance provided on the included CD Rom.

The program is a flexible step by step guide allowing facilitators to use the content in their own school or community setting. Using a strengths approach, the program aims to facilitate healthy discussions and experiential learning.
