Roads to Refuge : Refugees in Australia education kit

This education kit explains why refugees and asylum seekers flee their homes to seek safety in countries such as Australia.

There are three Roads to Refuge kits designed for:
  • Primary schools
  • Secondary schools
  • Community groups  
Each kit contains:
  • A 26 minute video
  • Presenter's notes
  • Overhead projector slides
  • Student workbooks
  • Group activity suggestions

The kits are produced by the Centre for Refugee Research, University of NSW, for the Migration Heritage Centre and the NSW Department of Education and Training.
