Racism No Way Education Resource

The Racism No Way Project aims to assist schools communities and education systems to recognise and address racism in the learning environment.

Racism No Way is a web-based resource that incorporates:

• Classroom activities: you'll find lesson ideas, fact sheets and a teachers' forum
• Library: this includes an annotated bibliography, time line and key dates, Australian legislation and international law
• Working Together: included here is a useful framework for countering racism.
• News: find out what schools are doing throughout Australia.
• Games room: here students can do crosswords and quizzes and enter competitions which are judged monthly.

This project is managed and educational content has been developed by Government State and Territory education systems, the National Catholic Education Commission, the National Council of Independent Schools' Associations and the Department of Education, Training and Youth Affairs.

The work of the project was supported by expertise of teachers, parents and curriculum officers throughout Australia.
