Ethnic Communities Council of NSW ResourcesThe Ethnic Communities' Council of NSW (ECC) is a non-government peak body representing many organisations and people from the multicultural community in NSW.
The ECC of NSW's primary roles are advocacy, education and community development. The ECC of NSW actively promotes the principles of multiculturalism, and lobbies for the development of culturally inclusive society. The Council is involved in developing strategies regarding the most important issues to touch ethnic communities such as: housing, employment, the impact of gambling, the perception of a correlation between crime and ethnicity, water safety, bank closures and fees, and racism in sport, to name just a few.
