Broaden Your Horizons - career and transition information for young people with disabilities

Broaden Your Horizons is a centralised website that houses resources relating to young people with disabilities. This resource is dedicated to provide quality career and transition information and support services to young people with disabilities.

The aim of this site is to create an easy, time-efficient way to source targeted transition information for young people.

Broaden Your Horizons also understands that many young people may have a disability that is hidden such as mental health issues, acquired brain injury, autism spectrum disorders or a learning disability. This website also contains information on the not so hidden disabilities such as vision and hearing impairments and physical and intellectual disabilities.

It is imperative that access and awareness to all this information is readily available from the initial phases of planning for transition to ensure that the outcomes for young people with disabilities are greatly increased.

The website has been developed by Inner Melbourne VET Cluster (IMVC), a Local Community Partnership funded by the Australian Government, Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations under the National Disability Coordination Program.
