Aboriginal Environments Research CentreThe AERC is a multidisciplinary centre for research and teaching into the culture, environment and architecture of Australian Indigenous peoples.
The Aboriginal Environments Research Centre (AERC) is a largely, self-supporting resource and research centre based in the School of Geography, Planning and Architecture at the University of Queensland (Australia). The centre's work focuses on the cultures and environments of Indigenous peoples. The AERC now performs three functions:
The Centre maintains a substantial collection of research material, including literature, images and sound recordings. The work undertaken here is nationally recognised as significant and helps support a stimulating research culture, which any student, researcher or other interested party is welcome to enquire about.
