Action Without Borders - Kids & Teens

The idealist.org website is one of the tools that Action Without Borders uses to carry out its mission: To help build a world where all people can live free and dignified lives in a healthy environment.

The Action Without Borders Kids and teens website was created in response to many requests from young people around the world, asking to refer them to places where they can volunteer or get involved in their community.

Over 45,000 nonprofit organizations from around the world use Idealist to list information about the work they do. This information includes their mission and how to contact them, volunteer opportunities, internships, resources and services that they provide.

Idealist Kids and Teens is designed to introduce children and young people to the world of nonprofit organisations and the activities and issues that they pursue.

Kids and Teens will help you find:

• Resources and information on how to start a project to help your local and/or global community.
• Information about youth volunteering
• Nonprofit websites for young people dealing with issues like human rights, the environment and the arts.
• Organisations that can help you with personal questions and problems.
