Mental Health Legal Services ProjectThe Mental Health Legal Services [MHLS] Project, funded by Legal Aid NSW and auspiced by the Public Interest Advocacy Centre (PIAC), aims to better meet the unmet legal needs of people who are mentally unwell.
The target group for the MHLS Project will be those individuals who are mentally unwell and who because of that have access to justice issues in areas such as... • Crimes of violence We will research and pilot both capacity building/training and new legal service delivery models. We want to talk with consumers, carers, workers, academics and others with an interest in this important subject. If you have any questions, comments or ideas re the MHLS Project, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
