Toward a Social Enterprise Strategy for Greater Sydney
GROW Sydney has developed a strategy to to assist in the growth of social enterprise in Sydney.
GROW Sydney recognised that the field of social enterprise was attracting greater interest and attention from government and the philanthropic and corporate sectors but it was fragmented and not well understood by many key groups.
In order to assist in filling this gap in knowledge GROW undertook a number of consultations and research in order to develop a Social Enterprise Strategy for Greater Sydney. The strategy is intended to 'kick start' a process within Sydney's social enterprise sector to build a strategy that is endorsed and resourced by all stakeholders groups to build a stronger, sustainable and productive social enterprise sector in the Sydney region.
