Environmental Sustainability Initiatives in North America and Europe: Churchill Fellowship report by John HepburnThis Churchill Fellowship focused on the creation of alternatives - exploring a small sample of local community environmental sustainability initiatives in the US and UK.
The objective of John Hepburn's Churchill Fellowship was to explore non-profit, community based sustainability initiatives that create employment through environmentally regenerative projects, and that also integrate concepts of social justice and democracy into their organisational processes. This fellowship report focuses on lessons learnt that might be of use for people who are working in, or wanting to start community based sustainability initiatives in Australia.
