The End of Charity: Time for Social Enterprise

An ABC interview with Nic Frances, author of the 2006 Iremonger Award winning book.

In recent years, lots of companies have paired up with charities in the name of 'corporate responsibility'. But one man says those partnerships don't go far enough. Over the last twenty years Nic Frances has worked extensively in the private and not-for-profit charity sectors. Ten years ago he was CEO of the charity The Brotherhood of St Lawrence, but five years ago he left that organisation convinced that he could achieve more good from within the private sector.
