A volunteer run, non-profit secular program that provides free English support and Community Services to the Sudanese refugee population in Melbourne, and as of 2007 Western Sydney.

SAIL was established in Victoria in 2000, and now offers tutoring to approximately 450 members of the Sudanese community there.  The program has a volunteer staff of about 300 people including over 270 tutors.

In 2007, SAIL is beginning in Sydney, its first campus at the Seven Hills Community Centre.

For information about the program in Sydney, please contact Sophie Ross or Ian Meadows, Co-ordinators (Seven Hills campus), at SAILSevenHills@africanoz.com or go to the SAIL website at: www.SAILProgram.org.au
