We have been funded initially under the Voluntary Work Initiative (VWI) the Centre's primary role is to provide volunteers and organisations with information about volunteering opportunities, and to pre-screen and refer suitable volunteers to notified vacancies. The VWI is funded by Commonwealth Department of Family and Community Services (FACS) to provide services to the entire Centrelink region and encompasses near NSW townships of Wentworth, Dareton, Pooncarie and Buronga.
