Taking Participation Seriously – a practical resource kit for involving children and young peopleA kit providing practical advice on how to involve children and young people in activities, events, decision-making, meetings, boards and committees.
The kit (available online and in hard copy) was produced by the NSW Commission for Children and Young People. Children and young people helped develop all sections of the kit, providing their ideas, experiences, feedback and piloting the resources before publication. It is made up of different parts that focus on how you can involve children and young people in different activities or areas of work. The TAKING PARTicipation seriously Kit includes:
