Access2democracy is a not-for-profit, Non Governmental Organization (NGO) established in Athens and New York which aims to promote and enhance democratic values, institutions and processes through the utilization of the new Information and Communication Technologies

access2democracy founders share:

• a common understanding of the enormous untapped potential of new technologies to enhance and to promote democracy through the provision of a platform for dialogue, for participation, for individual and collective voice, for inclusion, for citizens' access.

access2democracy aims to enhance the democratic process worldwide through facilitating communication and assisting in the use and implementation of relevant technology-based solutions wherever they are needed.

The significant and largely unexplored capabilities of new technologies can be used to the benefit and enhancement of democracy, offering a platform for deliberation and participation on an individual and collective basis, as well as facilitating greater citizens’ access to decision making processes especially in today’s globalized environment.
